Konya Tour from Istanbul
Day 1 – Flight from Istanbul to Konya & Hotel Check-in
Depending on your availability and preference, you can choose to fly from Istanbul to Konya in the morning, afternoon, or evening. (Please write your preferred flight time in the notes section during checkout.)
You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the airport. Upon arrival at Konya Airport, our team will be waiting for you with a name sign and take you directly to your hotel in the city center.
You’ll have the rest of the day free to explore the nearby streets, taste Konya’s traditional dishes, or simply rest for your guided tour the next day.
Overnight: Stay overnight in Konya.
Day 2 – Full Day Guided Konya Tour & Return Flight to Istanbul
09:30 – Hotel Pick-up: After breakfast and check-out, your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin the cultural exploration of Konya — the spiritual capital of Anatolia.
- Mevlana Museum: Step into the world of Rumi at the former dervish lodge, where the poet’s tomb lies surrounded by relics of the Sufi tradition.
- Selimiye Mosque: Admire this 16th-century Ottoman mosque, with its wide courtyard and harmonious design, standing just beside the Mevlana complex.
- Alaaddin Mosque: Built on Konya’s oldest hill, this grand Seljuk mosque is one of the oldest in the region and features sultans’ tombs in its garden.
- Karatay Madrasa: A beautifully tiled Seljuk-era school, now serving as a museum showcasing art, science, and history from the medieval Islamic world.
- Shams-i Tabrizi Tomb: Visit the peaceful tomb and mosque dedicated to Rumi’s spiritual mentor and closest companion.
17:00 – End of Tour & Airport Transfer: After the tour, you’ll be transferred to Konya Airport.
19:30 – Flight to Istanbul: Return flight back to Istanbul (exact time may vary depending on availability).
21:00 – Arrival in Istanbul: Upon your arrival at the airport, we will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Istanbul. TOUR ENDS.

One night was enough to see main attractions in Konya. Mevlana Museum was peaceful and educational about Rumi teachings. Flexible flight timing worked well with our schedule from Istanbul.
Good introduction to Konya for those interested in Islamic history and Sufi culture. Hotel was comfortable and tour covered the important mosques and museums. Short but informative visit that gave us appreciation for this historic city.
