10:30 – Arrival at Göreme Bus Station: Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and the first day of exploration begins.
Red (North) Cappadocia Tour
10:30 – Start of Tour: Dive into the heart of North Cappadocia as you discover surreal valleys, ancient villages, and fairy chimneys on the Red Tour.

Three days from Ankara was perfect weekend getaway during work assignment. Cave hotel WiFi was spotty which turned out to be blessing for digital detox.

Islamic art historian and Byzantine frescoes in cave churches were surprisingly well preserved despite centuries of different religious uses. Documentation for research project was allowed with proper permissions. Three days provided time for detailed photography and note-taking impossible on rushed day tours.

Environmental science background and volcanic soil composition was fascinating. Erosion patterns told story of millions of years.

Celebrating 25th wedding anniversary and three days allowed romantic pace without feeling rushed. Husband surprised me with private dinner arranged through hotel on final evening. Sunset from room terrace was magical backdrop for renewing vows informally between ourselves.
