Day 1 – Flexible Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia
Today your journey to the heart of Anatolia begins. Depending on your preference and availability, your flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia will be scheduled in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
Our team will pick you up from your Istanbul hotel and transfer you to the airport. Upon arrival in Cappadocia, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore your surroundings at leisure.

Day 2 – North Cappadocia (Red) Tour

09:30 – Hotel Pick-up: After breakfast, you’ll be picked up for a full-day guided tour exploring northern Cappadocia.
- Devrent Valley: See uniquely shaped rock formations that resemble animals and other figures carved naturally by the wind.
- Paşabağ Open Air Museum: Famous for its striking fairy chimneys and ancient monk dwellings hidden within.

Day 3 – South Cappadocia (Yellow) Tour
09:30 – Hotel Pick-up: Today you’ll explore the southern wonders of Cappadocia with a guided tour.
- Red Valley: Walk through this colorful valley, especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset, full of scenic rock formations and quiet paths.
- Gulludere Valley: A peaceful area dotted with ancient cave churches and panoramic viewpoints.
- Çavuşin Village: Explore an old Greek settlement carved into the cliff, still bearing traces of daily life from centuries ago.
- Özkonak Underground City: Descend into this cleverly designed shelter used by early Christians for protection during invasions.
- Pigeon Valley: Witness the hand-carved dovecotes once used to collect fertilizer and messages, now a picturesque valley trail.
17:00 – Tour Ends: You’ll be returned to your hotel for your final night in Cappadocia.

Day 4 – Bus to Konya, Full Konya Tour & Return to Istanbul
07:30 – Hotel Pick-up: After breakfast and check-out, you’ll be transferred to the bus station for your journey to Konya.
08:15 – Bus to Konya: Intercity public coach with scheduled breaks.
11:15 – Arrival in Konya: Meet your guide and begin the cultural tour.
- Mevlana Museum: Visit the resting place of Rumi and explore his spiritual teachings through exhibits and relics.
- Selimiye Mosque: An impressive Ottoman structure located beside the museum, still used by locals for daily prayer.
- Alaaddin Mosque: An ancient Seljuk-era mosque on the city’s historic hill, home to sultans’ tombs and quiet gardens.
- Karatay Madrasa: A former Islamic school now hosting exhibitions of brilliant Seljuk tile work.
- Shams-i Tabrizi Tomb: Discover the tomb of Rumi’s spiritual companion in a peaceful courtyard just a short walk from the museum.
17:00 – Tour Ends: Transfer to Konya Airport for your return flight.
19:30 – Flight to Istanbul: Evening flight to Istanbul (exact time based on availability).
21:00 – Arrival in Istanbul: Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our driver and transferred to your hotel in Istanbul.

Four days gave us relaxed pace to explore both regions thoroughly. Extra time in Cappadocia meant we could do both Red and Green tours plus visit additional valleys. Konya portion was comprehensive and we attended evening whirling dervish ceremony.

Excellent tour combining natural and spiritual heritage of Turkey. Four days was ideal timing with two full days in each location. Cappadocia underground cities and rock formations were incredible. Konya showed us different side of Turkish culture with focus on Islamic art and Sufi traditions.
Well organized tour with good balance between sightseeing and free time. Accommodation was comfortable in both cities and guides were knowledgeable about local history and culture. Four days felt like right amount of time to appreciate both regions.
Fantastic four day journey through two very different but equally fascinating regions of Turkey. Cappadocia was all about natural wonders and ancient cave dwellings while Konya provided deep insight into Islamic mysticism and Sufi culture. Hot air balloon flight was unforgettable and whirling dervish ceremony was deeply moving experience. Guide was excellent throughout and helped us understand historical significance of both places. Would highly recommend this combination tour.
