5 Days Cappadocia and Pamukkale Tour from Istanbul by Flight: Valleys, Underground Cities & Thermal Marvels
Day 1 ─ Fly from Istanbul ➝ Arrival in Cappadocia ➝ Red Tour
03:30 am ─ Our travel team will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul. You will be transferred to Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
06:30 am ─ Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia. (Flight schedules may vary depending on the season and airline availability.)
08:00 am ─ Upon arrival at either Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport, our representative will greet you with a name sign. You’ll then be transferred directly to the start of the Red Tour.
Unveiling Cappadocia’s Rock Formations & Heritage
- Devrent Valley: Wander through a surreal landscape of volcanic rock that has naturally formed into shapes resembling animals, people, and objects. It’s a natural sculpture park with no two stones alike.
- Pasabag Valley Open Air Museum: Home to the region’s most famous fairy chimneys, Pasabag features cave dwellings and chapels carved by early monks who sought solitude in nature.
- Avanos & Pottery Workshop: Visit the riverside town known for its red clay pottery tradition. Take part in a live pottery demonstration and, if you like, create your own piece under expert guidance.
- Zelve Open Air Museum: An abandoned village complex carved into rock. It once housed multiple communities and religious sites. Explore churches, kitchens, and communal spaces in this fascinating open-air heritage site.
- Uchisar Castle & Panoramic View: Climb to the highest viewpoint in Cappadocia. The castle, carved into a rock outcrop, offers a 360-degree view of valleys, fairy chimneys, and the volcanic peaks that define the landscape.

Into the Valleys & Villages of Southern Cappadocia
- Red Valley: Hike through dramatic rock formations with naturally vibrant red and pink hues. The valley is scattered with ancient cave churches and frescoes hidden among the hills.
- Gulludere Valley: Known for its serenity and religious sites, this valley houses several small rock-cut chapels. It’s perfect for light trekking and photography.

Day 3 ─ Flight to Pamukkale Region ➝ Hotel Check-In
Morning ─ After breakfast and check-out, we’ll transfer you to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport.
Note: There are no direct flights to Denizli. We will arrange the most efficient connected flight via Istanbul for your travel day.
Afternoon ─ Upon arrival at Denizli Airport, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel in Pamukkale.
Rest & Reset in Thermal Territory
Spend the rest of your day relaxing and preparing for the next day’s adventure. You can enjoy your hotel’s thermal pools or explore the nearby village.
Day 4 ─ Guided Pamukkale Tour
09:30 am ─ After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel to begin a comprehensive Pamukkale exploration.
Thermal Wonders & Ancient Ruins
- Pamukkale Travertines: Walk barefoot across these natural thermal terraces. The cascading white basins are filled with warm mineral water known for its therapeutic properties.
- White Calcium Terraces: Marvel at this UNESCO World Heritage Site and its cotton-like limestone formations formed by natural hot springs.
- Hierapolis Ancient City: Visit the sprawling ruins of this Greco-Roman city. See its grand theater, city walls, and necropolis where over 1,200 tombs lie.

Morning ─ After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to Denizli Airport.
Flight to Istanbul: Enjoy a direct flight to Istanbul (flight times may vary based on availability).
Arrival in Istanbul: Our team will meet you at the airport exit and provide transfer service to your hotel in the city.

- Hot air balloon rides in Cappadocia are highly recommended but not included in the tour price. You can add it during the booking process. Early booking is advised due to high demand.
