Best of Turkey Tour in 9 Days
Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul
Your incredible journey across Turkey begins today in the vibrant city of Istanbul. Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), you’ll be greeted by our team holding a sign with your name.
After meeting our staff, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Istanbul.
Once you’ve checked in, the rest of the day is yours. You can relax and unwind at your hotel after a long journey, or start exploring the charming streets of Istanbul on your own.
Day 2 – Istanbul Half Day Morning City Tour
Hotel Pick-Up: After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel around 08:30 AM and transferred to the historical peninsula of Istanbul, known as Sultanahmet.
Visiting Sights:
- Blue Mosque: A stunning 17th-century mosque famous for its six minarets and blue-colored interior tiles.
- Hippodrome of Constantinople: Once the social center of Byzantine life, featuring ancient monuments and Roman-era columns.
- Hagia Sophia: A world-renowned architectural wonder that has served as a church and mosque for over 1,500 years.
Tour End: Around 12:30 PM, the tour will end at Sultanahmet Square.
Day 3 – Afternoon Bosphorus Cruise with Lunch
Hotel Pick-Up: After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have free time until your tour pick-up around 13:00 PM. At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the pier to board the Bosphorus cruise boat.
Visiting Sights:
- Bosphorus Strait: A natural waterway dividing Europe and Asia, offering the best panoramic views of Istanbul.
- Dolmabahçe Palace (from the sea): An opulent 19th-century Ottoman palace located along the European shoreline.
- Çırağan Palace (from the sea): A former imperial residence, now a luxury hotel, admired for its elegant waterfront architecture.
- Ortaköy Mosque (from the sea): A picture-perfect baroque mosque located beneath the Bosphorus Bridge.
- Bosphorus Bridge: One of Istanbul’s iconic suspension bridges connecting two continents.
- Rumeli Fortress (from the sea): A 15th-century fortress built by Sultan Mehmed II during his conquest of Constantinople.
- Beylerbeyi Palace (from the sea): A charming summer residence of Ottoman sultans, located on the Asian side of the city.
Tour End: The cruise ends at around 16:00 PM. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4 – Fly to Cappadocia & Northern Cappadocia Tour
Visiting Sights:
- Devrent Valley: A surreal landscape filled with naturally shaped rocks that resemble animals and mythical creatures.
- Pasabag (Monks Valley): Home to the most iconic fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, known for their tall, mushroom-like formations.
- Avanos: A traditional pottery village set along the Kızılırmak River, known for its red clay ceramics.
- Zelve Open-Air Museum: An abandoned cave village showcasing the region’s troglodyte lifestyle.

Tour End: The tour ends around 17:00 PM. You will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 5 – Southern Cappadocia Tour & Overnight Bus to Pamukkale
Hot Air Balloon Flight
The price of the hot air balloon flight is not included in this package. You can add it optionally if you want to experience the incredible sunrise view over Cappadocia.
Hot Air Balloon Watching
If you prefer to stay on the ground but still want to capture amazing photos of the balloons floating over the fairy chimneys, join our hot air balloon watching tour.
Visiting Sights:
- Red Valley: A beautiful valley famous for its red-colored volcanic rock and scenic hiking trails.
- Gulludere Valley: A peaceful area filled with small cave churches and lush surroundings.
- Cavusin Village: An ancient Greek village with abandoned cave houses and churches.

Tour End: The tour finishes around 17:00 PM. After a short break, you’ll be transferred to the bus station for your overnight journey to Pamukkale at 20:00 PM. Then, your overnight bus trip starts.
Day 6 – Pamukkale Tour & Transfer to Kusadasi
Hotel Pick-Up: You will arrive at Denizli Bus Station around 05:30–06:00 AM. Our team will transfer you to a nearby hotel for freshening up and breakfast before the tour begins around 09:30 AM.
Visiting Sights:
- White Travertine Terraces: A stunning natural formation of mineral-rich thermal waters cascading down the hillsides.
- Hierapolis Ancient City: A Greco-Roman spa city known for its grand theater and historical ruins.
- The Necropolis: A massive ancient cemetery with over 1,000 tombs and sarcophagi.
- Frontinus Gate & Street: The well-preserved main street and entrance to the ancient city.
- Roman Baths & Basilica: Remnants of sacred and social life in the ancient world.
- Temple of Apollo: The spiritual center of Hierapolis, dedicated to the sun god.
- Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool (optional): Swim among ancient marble columns in warm, mineral-rich waters (entrance extra).
Tour End: Around 16:00 PM, the tour ends and you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 7 – Ephesus Tour & Fly to Istanbul
Hotel Pick-Up: After breakfast and check-out, you will be picked up from your Kusadasi hotel at 08:30 AM to begin your Ephesus day tour.
Visiting Sights:
- Temple of Artemis: Once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, now a peaceful archaeological site.
- Ephesus Ancient City: One of the best-preserved Roman cities, including the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre.
- Isabey Mosque: A 14th-century Seljuk-era mosque showcasing early Ottoman architecture.
- House of Virgin Mary: A sacred pilgrimage site believed to be the final home of Mary, mother of Jesus.
Tour End: The tour concludes around 17:00 PM. Afterwards, you’ll be transferred to the airport in Izmir for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon landing in Istanbul around 20:45 PM, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 8 – Free Day in Istanbul
Hotel Pick-Up: No pick-up today. The entire day is yours to enjoy freely.
Suggested (self-guided): Spice Bazaar, Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Topkapi Palace, or take a ferry to the Asian side.
Day 9 – Departure from Istanbul
Hotel Pick-Up: After breakfast and check-out (before 11:30 AM), you’ll be transferred to the airport for your international flight.
Tour End: This marks the end of your 9-day Turkey tour. We hope you leave with unforgettable memories and a deep connection to this beautiful country.
- Domestic flight times may vary depending on availability and seasonal schedules. Final details will be shared after your booking.
- All domestic flights include 15 kg of checked baggage and 8 kg of hand luggage.
- The overnight bus from Cappadocia to Pamukkale has reclining seats and comfort stops along the route.
- The Cappadocia hot air balloon experience is optional and can be arranged in advance — early booking is highly recommended due to limited availability.
- Cleopatra Antique Pool in Pamukkale is not included in the entrance fee. Guests who wish to swim may pay the entrance fee on site.
- This tour is suitable for all ages, but may involve moderate walking each day.
