9 Days Istanbul Tour Package
Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul
Welcome to Istanbul! Upon your arrival, our team will meet you at the airport and take you to your centrally located hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2 – Old City Wonders Tour
Hotel Pick-Up: Around 08:30 AM, your guide will collect you from the hotel for a full-day historical discovery.
Visiting Sights:
- Blue Mosque: A grand 17th-century mosque famous for its hand-painted blue tiles and peaceful courtyard.
- Hippodrome Square: Ancient Roman sports arena with surviving monuments like the Egyptian Obelisk and Serpent Column.
- Hagia Sophia: An architectural marvel that served as both church and mosque — now a place of worship and wonder.
- Grand Bazaar: A historic covered market with thousands of shops selling local goods, souvenirs, and handmade crafts.
- Topkapi Palace: A lavish Ottoman palace once home to sultans, featuring imperial treasures and royal courtyards. (*Harem section not included*)
Lunch: Seasonal Turkish dishes at a local restaurant.
Tour End: Around 17:00, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.
Day 3 – Bosphorus Cruise & Two Continents Tour
Hotel Pick-Up: Your guide will meet you around 08:30 AM for a scenic and cultural tour.
Visiting Sights:
- Dolmabahçe Palace: A magnificent waterfront palace with European-style décor and historical significance.
- Bosphorus Bridge: Drive across the suspension bridge that connects Europe and Asia.
- Çamlıca Hill: The highest hill in Istanbul, offering spectacular city and Bosphorus views.
- Pierre Loti Hill: Named after a French poet, this hill offers a calm café and a panoramic view of the Golden Horn.
Lunch: Seasonal Turkish dishes served during a relaxing Bosphorus cruise.
Boat Cruise Highlights:
- Maiden’s Tower, waterfront mansions, Dolmabahçe & Çırağan Palaces
- Passage under two Bosphorus bridges linking the continents
Tour End: Around 17:00, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4 – Princes’ Islands Tour
Hotel Pick-Up: Around 08:30 AM, your driver will take you to the pier for a ferry to the serene islands.
Visiting Sights:
- Heybeliada: A quiet island with pine forests and monasteries, perfect for walking and photography.
- Büyükada: The largest island, full of charming houses, sea views, and relaxing cafés — no traffic, just peace.
Lunch: Seasonal Turkish menu at a local restaurant or on the boat (season-dependent).
Tour End: Ferry returns to Istanbul in the afternoon. You’ll arrive back at your hotel by 17:30–18:00.
Day 5 – Full Day Bursa Tour
Hotel Pick-Up: Around 08:30 AM, you’ll join your group for a journey to Bursa via ferry or Osman Gazi Bridge.
Visiting Sights:
- 600-Year-Old Plane Tree: A giant tree and popular stop for tea and fresh mountain air.
- Uludağ Mountain: Enjoy nature and fresh air at this green escape, once the center of ancient Olympos.
- Green Mosque & Green Tomb: A beautifully tiled 15th-century complex with spiritual and architectural significance.
- Turkish Delight Shop: Tasting and shopping for famous Bursa sweets.
- Silk Market: A traditional bazaar offering handmade scarves and local souvenirs.
Lunch: Seasonal Turkish dishes served at a local mountain restaurant.
Tour End: Return to Istanbul by evening. Hotel drop-off around 22:00–22:30.
Day 6 – Free Day in Istanbul
Take the day to explore at your own pace. Whether it’s a café by the Bosphorus, a museum, or a relaxing walk in Gülhane Park, the day is yours.
Optional: Add a magical Dinner Cruise on the Bosphorus with traditional shows and dancing.
You can book this during your tour reservation.
Day 7 – Free Day in Istanbul
This is your free day in Istanbul. You can explore Istanbul on your own.
Day 8 – Free Day in Istanbul
Your last full day. You may revisit your favorite place, do some souvenir shopping, or enjoy a Turkish bath. Let us know if you’d like to add an optional tour.
Day 9 – Departure Day
Hotel Pick-Up: After breakfast and check-out, you’ll be transferred to the airport based on your flight time.

- The order of tour days may change based on availability or public holidays
- We can change the tour days as per your request.

Nine days was perfect for really immersing ourselves in Istanbul culture. The imperial theme was fantastic, loved all the palace visits and learning about Ottoman sultans. Had time to explore different districts and try amazing food. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the imperial history.
What an incredible nine day journey through Ottoman history. Topkapi Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, and all the imperial mosques were breathtaking. Package was well organized with good mix of guided tours and free time. Really felt like we understood the imperial legacy by the end.
