Perge, Aspendos, Side & Manavgat Waterfall Tour Itinerary

🕗 07:30 – Hotel Pick-up:
Your full-day historical and scenic adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel in Antalya. From there, we begin a journey through time and nature, exploring ancient cities and beautiful waterfalls.

  • Perge Ancient City: Once the capital of the Pamphylian region, Perge is home to impressive Roman ruins including the Agora, Stadium, Roman Baths, and the Hellenistic Gate. Walking along the colonnaded streets, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back into a thriving Roman metropolis. It’s one of the most extensive archaeological sites in southern Turkey.
  • Aspendos Ancient Theatre: This exceptionally well-preserved Roman theatre was built in the 2nd century and could seat over 15,000 spectators. Its excellent acoustics and grand design make it one of the best-preserved theatres in the world. Even today, it hosts concerts and cultural events under the open sky.
  • Side Ancient City: Side is an atmospheric coastal city once used as a major Roman trade center and slave market. Explore remains of the Temple of Apollo, Roman Baths, and the large amphitheater before enjoying an hour of free time by the sea. The charming blend of ruins, beach views, and souvenir stalls make Side a favorite among travelers.
  • Manavgat Waterfall: Our final stop is the serene Manavgat Waterfall, where the river spreads wide and shallow over a low cliff. The lush greenery and sound of cascading water provide a refreshing end to the day. You’ll have time to relax, take photos, or sip Turkish tea by the riverside cafés.

🕕 18:30 – Hotel Drop-off:
At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Antalya with memories of both ancient wonders and natural beauty.

Excellent historical tour covering major ancient sites. Perge ruins were well preserved and you can really see how the Roman city was laid out. Aspendos theatre was incredible and guide explained how it still has perfect acoustics. Side was beautiful coastal location with nice mix of ruins and modern shops.

Comprehensive tour of important archaeological sites around Antalya. Aspendos theater was highlight for me, amazing that something so old is still in such good condition. Perge had impressive city gates and colonnaded street. Manavgat waterfall provided nice natural break from all the historical sites.
