Troy Ancient City Tour from Istanbul
06:00 – 06:30 ─ Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Beyoğlu or Taksim area.
06:30 – 07:00 ─ Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Sultanahmet or Sirkeci area.
07:00 ─ Depart from Istanbul’s Old City, heading towards Troy. Enjoy the scenic drive along the Sea of Marmara and through the landscapes of northwestern Turkey.
12:00 ─ Arrive in Eceabat or Çanakkale around noon. Relish a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, sampling regional specialties. After lunch, cross the Dardanelles by ferry or drive directly to the Troy Archaeological Site.
13:00 ─ Begin your immersive guided tour of Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich layers of history and myth.

Long day but totally worth it! Standing where Homer wrote about in the Iliad was incredible. The wooden horse replica was fun for photos and kids loved it. Guide really brought the ancient history to life with all the stories.
What an amazing journey into ancient history! Seeing the different layers of Troy was fascinating, you can really see how the city was built and rebuilt over centuries. Bus ride gave us nice views of Turkish countryside too.
Perfect day trip from Istanbul! Troy archaeological site was much bigger than I expected. Walking through the ruins and imagining the famous siege was incredible. Museum had some great artifacts that helped explain everything.

Fantastic tour for history lovers! Troy is smaller than you might imagine but packed with significance. The famous wooden horse was great for pictures and the kids had fun climbing around it. Lunch break was nice and food was good quality.
